The challenge is that coalition governments don't work at local government level.

That said, the silly season is upon us. When it became public that Helen Zille, pictured, is considering to run for Joburg mayor, the first person to complain was the ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba.

He told the world that Zille is not fit to run Joburg.
