Why is Mashaba obsessed with Zille?

South Africa will hold local government elections next year. The results are obvious: no political party will win with a majority. Coalition governments will be formed in most, if not all, municipalities.
The challenge is that coalition governments don't work at local government level.
That said, the silly season is upon us. When it became public that Helen Zille, pictured, is considering to run for Joburg mayor, the first person to complain was the ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba.
He told the world that Zille is not fit to run Joburg.
