Despite Discovery's partnership with Oura and the rollout of Vitality Sleep Rewards in 2026 dominating headlines recently, there are a number of other big changes being made to the Vitality Health programme next year.
These were recently shared with brokers and other stakeholders, and many have not yet been announced to members.
The behaviour-change programme sees members earn a number of points for screening activities (such as the Vitality Health Check), for being active, and for additional behaviours such as eating healthily and getting vaccinated.
These points then see members move up various status levels, with a single member requiring 40 000 points for Gold Status and 50 000 to reach Diamond.
Previously, status had an impact on one’s rewards levels and flight discounts, but this has changed and the only cohort who will see a meaningful financial impact from being on Diamond are Discovery Life customers.
Discovery is increasing the maximum points one can earn from physical activity from 30 000 to 35 000 from January, but it is splitting this into two.
