Muzi, Murray to deliver bankers

Bettors have an eight-race card to deal with at Turffontein tomorrow and it does look quite competitive. Those looking for a banker for the exotics could rely on Muzi Yeni in the opening leg of the Bi-Pot and Callan Murray for the Place Accumulator, Pick 6 and Jackpot 1.

Yeni gets aboard Matcha Mint in Race 1, a Maiden Juvenile Plate for fillies over 1600m.

This Paul Matchett-trained daughter of Gimmethegreenlight has raced four times, finishing third on debut and runner-up in her last three starts. Her last two were over 1600m so there is no question she will see out the distance.

Richard Fourie rode her last time at Hollywoodbets Greyville and she looked a winner when Blizzard Quest, a gelding trained by Sean Tarry, burst through on her inside to win by a 0.40 lengths.

Matcha Mint, a half-sister to Tyrconnell, is back in fillies’ company this time and that will make her very hard to beat.
