Former president Jacob Zuma's daughter Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, who has been accused of recruiting young South Africans to join the Russia-Ukraine war, has opened a criminal case against an individual she claims misled her.
An uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party MP, Zuma-Sambudla is being investigated by the Hawks after her sibling Nkosazana Bongani Zuma-Mncube deposed an affidavit implicating her in the recruitment of about 17 South Africans, who were sent to join the war in Ukraine under the pretext that they will receive VIP protection training in that country.
