LAUNCH: INSIDE SA'S MOST EXCITING BEAUTY EVENTS
Spring has always been the season of renewal, but for beauty lovers, it's something deeper. It's a time when the world feels lighter, colours look brighter and brands come alive with fresh launches, popups, and irresistible experiences.
This year has been no different. As the blossoms returned, so did some of the most exciting beauty events and openings South Africa has seen, reminding us why the warmer months continue to breathe magic into the industry.
One of the standout moments of the season was the opening of ARC's brand-new store in Sandton City. Known for bringing global beauty giants to local shelves, ARC opened its doors in a prime location that has been buzzing with curious beauty fans since day one.
When we visited, we spoke to a representative who explained the motivation behind the move.
"I think the question would be why the new location," came the opening comment. ARC's spokesperson didn't hesitate. "Two reasons. We needed a new space, and there was no small space available. We wanted to get bigger. When we asked what more we could do with extra room, they wanted to expand around us. So the main motivation was space; more space to grow."
And grow it did. The new store is not just larger, it's more immersive, more experiential, and filled with more brands than before.
