Newcastle's trip to Anfield is put back to Saturday evening slot

NEWCASTLE United's game at Liverpool in January has seen the kickoff time moved back in order for the game to be televised.

It means a long night and potentially extra expense for Newcastle fans, with the Anfield fixture moved to an 8pm kickoff on Saturday, January 31.
The game had been scheduled to start at 3pm, but TNT Sports chiefs see it as the perfect fit for their primetime TV slot on Saturday night.
