Drug driver rammed his vehicle into side of van

A drug-driver's road rage saw him deliberately ram his vehicle into the side of a van on a busy dual carriageway.

Jack Wilson had become so angry when the other driver allegedly "cut him up" that he put his foot down and pulled up alongside him.A court heard that the 29-year-old then deliberately drove his vehicle into the side of the van, causing it to spin in the carriageway of the A189, near the Moor Farm Roundabout, in Cramlington, before coming to a stop facing the wrong way. Wilson then left the victim "stranded" in the middle of the road and made-off, prosecutors said.
However, by coincidence, the victim's brother had witnessed the road rage incident and followed Wilson as he made his way to Cramlington. The police were called and Wilson was later arrested.
