A Motability specialist is getting in gear for his retirement after hanging up his keys on an extraordinary career spanning over four decades.
Gavin Gray, who is based at Vertu Vauxhall Newcastle, has served the Motability community for 43 years, making him one of the UK's longest serving and most respected experts in helping disabled motorists gain greater independence.
His retirement marks the end of a career widely regarded within the Motability community as exceptional, both for its longevity and its impact on thousands of disabled drivers and their families.
He is believed to be the most decorated expert around the Motability Scheme, which allows people in receipt of certain benefits to exchange them for a suitable vehicle.
