Changes put Le Bris' men out of step
The Chronicle
|December 29, 2025
REGIS Le Bris admitted Sunderland struggled to adapt to changes made by opponents Leeds after Joe Rodon was taken off with an injury.
-
The Black Cats maintained their unbeaten home run with a battling draw, but head coach Le Bris said the game "shifted" after the visitors' defender was withdrawn following a challenge with Sunderland goalscorer Simon Adingra.
"We started well, we scored, we had the opportunity to score the second goal," said Le Bris.
"The game shifted after the injury of Rodon, I think they managed a different structure and we struggled to find the best references for the low buildup and for the high press.
"This shift was a bit difficult to manage today."
