Challenge for Rigg in the Premier
The Chronicle
|September 09, 2025
SUNDERLAND head coach Regis Le Bris says nothing has changed regarding the club's plans for Chris Rigg following the club's promotion to the Premier League.
-
The Black Cats tied down the English youth international to a long term contract again this summer, fending off fresh interest from club's in the topflight and across Europe.
Rigg - who has made just one appearance in the Premier League so far this campaign, as a substitute in the 3-0 win over West Ham United - missed the latter part of the Black Cats’ preseason owing to injury.
