SUNDERLAND are understood to want to keep Romaine Mundle despite growing interest from elsewhere.

Scottish giants Rangers showed an interest in signing the winger on loan last week, and it appeared the Black Cats were willing to sanction his exit.
The Gers also wanted to sign Mundle’s teammate, Dan Neil, as they attempted to pull off a sensational double deal.
