TOM Peers and Jack Bainbridge have signed up for Chester's next crack at promotion to the National League.

Peers and Bainbridge on board for Blues

Peers, 29, was the first to commit for the 2025/26 campaign, joining contracted players Harrison Burke, Oskar Rosenblatt, Declan Weeks and Connor Woods.

Peers had a brilliant 2024/25 season and was the Seals' top scorer, scoring 21 goals in all competitions with 19 of these coming in the National League North.

Peers is a Chester FC Academy graduate and returned to the club from Macclesfield back in October 2023, and made his 100th Blues appearance back in February.

The Warrington-based attacker has signed a new one-year deal with an option to extend further.

Peers had this to say after putting pen to paper: “It was the easiest decision I have ever made, I knew at 7pm on Sunday evening [just after the play-off final defeat to Scunthorpe] that I wanted to stay with Chester.
