Mini-digger search leads police to discover £4m worth of cigarettes

POLICE have accidentally discovered £4m worth of cigarettes while searching for stolen mini-diggers in a Cheshire village.
Officers from Cheshire Police seized some plant equipment from an address in Crowton on Thursday, May 22, as part of an investigation into stolen mini-diggers.
But while searching two nearby storage containers, officers found £4m worth of cigarettes in hundreds of stacked up cardboard boxes.
