Bid to convert office building into flats rejected

FLATS were refused in Chester city centre. The conversion was put forward at 4 Hunters Walk, Canal Street by Dave Goodfellow.

Planning officers at Cheshire West and Chester Council were told the conversion of a three storey office building to three residential units was intended. Each would be a two bedroom flat.

Chester Civic Trust objected as it did not consider the design and size of the dwellings proposed was sufficient to provide adequate living space for residents.

The trust considered the design of the building was more suited to its original proposed use as a single dwelling.
