Arrest as patients and staff evacuated after ‘bomb hoax’

A WOMAN has been arrested after police descended on the Countess of Chester Hospital following a ‘bomb hoax’ which saw patients and staff evacuated.

Emergency services were called to the hospital at around 8.56am on Monday (June 30) following reports of suspicious activity.
An area of the hospital was evacuated as armed police swarmed the scene.
