USIBC meets minister Pralhad Joshi to strengthen renewable energy supply chain

On Thursday in New Delhi, representatives from the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) met with Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & New and Renewable Energy, Pralhad Joshi.

The meeting centered on strategies to bolster the resilience of the renewable energy technology supply chain in India. The USIBC emphasized the importance of enhancing supply chain resilience for critical renewable technologies such as solar and wind energy, which are vital for India’s energy security and transition goals. Additionally, the delegation stressed the importance of advancing the hydrogen ecosystem within the U.S.-India partnership.
