Singapore airlines compensates passengers injured in rough flight

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has extended monetary compensation and support to passengers affected by a turbulent flight from London to Singapore last month.

The incident, which occurred on May 21, involved Flight SQ321 encountering extreme turbulence, leading to the death of one passenger and injuries to several others.
The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft was carrying 211 passengers and a crew of 18 when it experienced severe turbulence mid-flight, necessitating an emergency landing at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport. Passengers and crew were reportedly thrown up to the plane's ceiling before falling back down, resulting in the tragic death of one man and injuries to many others.
