In a significant move aimed at bolstering the state’s industrial landscape, the Karnataka government has given the nod to 62 industrial investment proposals, amounting to a staggering Rs 3,607.19 crore. This decision, sanctioned by the State Level Single Window Clearance Committee under the guidance of Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development Minister M B Patil, is anticipated to pave the way for employment opportunities for over 10,755 individuals within Karnataka.
During a recent meeting chaired by Minister M B Patil, these proposals received the official clearance. Notably, eight of these ventures are poised to inject investments surpassing Rs 50 crore, with a collective sum of Rs 2,088.44 crore. These larger-scale investments are projected to create a workforce of 6,360 employees, highlighting their substantial impact on job creation within the state.
