India decides to allow export of rice to S'pore

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has announced that India has decided to allow the export of rice to Singapore. This decision was taken during a recent meeting between the officials of the two countries.

The MEA stated that the move would give a major impetus to the export of rice from India to Singapore, which is an important market for Indian rice. The statement further added that this decision would further strengthen the economic ties between the two countries. The announcement comes at a time when India is looking to expand its agricultural exports, especially in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has disrupted supply chains worldwide.
