'Increasing exports, reducing imports new way ahead for patriotism'

Promoting patriotism and the spirit of “swadeshi” involves a shift towards increased exports and decreased imports, marking a path to a “new freedom” for India, according to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s remarks during the ‘Sagar Manthan 2.0’ event hosted by the weekly magazine ‘Panchjanya’ on Sunday.

Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, emphasized the significance of ending the import of petrol and diesel, linking it to the global fight against terrorism. He declared, “Terrorism will persist worldwide until this import is halted. My life’s mission is to cease the import of petrol and diesel, viewing it as a transformative moment for India when no fuel is brought into the country.”
