Finance Minister has called for ensuring that projects be planned and completed without delays as she virtually launched seven infrastructure projects worth over Rs 1,000 crore.

"The Department concerned should ensure that construction begins on time and that the projects are completed within the given time frame," Sitharaman said at the launch attended by senior officials of the Ministry of Finance and Dinesh Khara, Chairman, State Bank of India.
The Finance Minister also inaugurated the electronic data interchange (EDI) at land customs stations (LCS) of the North East Region (NER), via virtual mode.
