Hiver, a Gmail-based customer service solution, is addressing the need for efficient collaboration within emails by integrating task management and collaboration tools directly within the Gmail environment.

Kumar Shailove, Vice President of Engineering at Hiver, emphasized that the platform aims to minimize friction for users and eliminate the need to switch between different tools.

Shailove stated that Hiver is a self-served Software as a Service (SaaS) offering that operates from cloud infrastructure. He highlighted the centrality of emails in communication and collaboration, adding that Hiver's solution enables users to work on team-assigned tasks, track task statuses, assign tasks, and notify team members-all within Gmail.
