CashKaro sets sights on profit in 2 yrs, user base to grow 100M in 3 yrs

Cashikara Nash Karo, a startup backed by Ratan Tata, is optimistic about achieving profitability within the next two years and is gearing up to expand its user base four-fold to reach an impressive 100 million in the next three years.

Speaking to PTI at the Digital Acceleration and Transformation Expo (DATE), Swati Bhargava, cofounder of both CashKaro and EarnKaro, revealed that the company currently possesses enough revenue to turn a profit but is strategically reinvesting funds into marketing initiatives to fuel user base expansion.

Bhargava shed light on the timeline for CashKaro's anticipated profitability, stating, "We are looking at two years because, after two years, we see we can do away with some of our marketing campaigns." The startup, with substantial backing from investors such as Kalaari Capital, Ratan Tata, Korea Investment Partners, and Affle Global Pte Ltd, has amassed over Rs 255 crore in funding.
