VP Sara thanks allies, slams greed in wake of SC ruling

Vice President Sara Duterte extended her gratitude to her defense team and supporters following the Supreme Court’s decision declaring the impeachment complaint against her unconstitutional.

She affirmed her readiness to confront all forthcoming legal and political challenges tied to the case.

In her official statement released Wednesday, July 30, Duterte expressed “heartfelt gratitude” to her 16-member defense team “for taking on my case, even when no one else was willing to stand by me:

“Thank you to the Petitioners of G.R. No. 278359 for having the conviction to challenge the abuses of the House of Representatives,” she said, referring to the petition’s docket number.
