MARCOS OKS P2,000 PAY RAISE FOR POLL WORKERS

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the release of P2,000 across-the-board increase in the compensation of teachers and other poll workers serving in the May 12 national elections.

Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah Pangandaman confirmed that the allowance increase has been approved.

"As directed by our beloved President Bongbong Marcos, finally, our teachers and poll workers will receive a P2,000 across-the-board increase in their compensation for the 2025 midterm elections," Pangandaman said.
