Is Estil the biggest steal? Cone thinks so

Sonny Estil may have made heads turn when he won the 2025 PBA draft combine MVP award but still, it came as a shock for him that it boosted his stock to the point of landing late in the first round.

But it turns out, Barangay Ginebra sees all the things they need from Estil to pick him 11th overall in the draft proceedings on Sunday, Sept. 7 at the Mall of Asia Music Hall.

Cone admitted that Estil was not even on their radar heading into the rookie draft but took the gamble in picking him early after impressing in the combine.
