Police investigate report of rape of teenage girl

POLICE are looking for witnesses after receiving a report a 15-year-old girl was raped in Chertsey.
It happened in the area around Chertsey Library on Friday evening (June 27).
The girl was with a friend when they were approached by two males, one of whom assaulted the girl.
The suspect is described as in his teens, with slicked back blonde hair.
He was wearing a light-coloured jumper, blue jeans and white trainers.
The incident occurred at around 7pm and officers are hoping the public might have information that can help in identifying the suspect.
After another reported rape in the town earlier this year, Borough Commander Ian Nash has provided an update and sought to reassure the public. He said: “Rape is an extremely serious crime and we will always investigate any allegation made to us.
