ONE man has been restoring dangerous paths across Surrey, aided by just his son and the information he learnt on YouTube.

Fabio Zacarias, 44, spends his free time travelling around the county clearing blocked footpaths and removing overgrown vegetation as a way to give back to his community.

Fabio explained: “I work for a company doing catering for a lot of the flight companies. My job normally is really boring. I just drive the trucks there and come back to the base.”

So when he saw a video of a man cleaning a stranger's garden it sparked his imagination.

He said: “For some reason, the message of his video just made a big impact on me.

“He was going to people's gardens and he restored and made it a better place for that person again, usable again.
