Regis is focused on progress and not transfers
Sunderland Echo
|January 06, 2026
Sunderland head coach Régis Le Bris kept the focus firmly on performance and progress rather than the transfer window after his side's 1-1 draw away to Tottenham Hotspur.
-
Despite growing speculation around January recruitment, Le Bris made it clear that nothing is moving behind the scenes at this stage, with all attention placed on results and momentum. “At the minute, nothing. We're focused on the game only,” Le Bris admitted.
Instead, the Sunderland head coach reflected on what he described as a significant milestone in the club's Premier League return, with the Black Cats reaching 30 points after 20 matches.
