Daley's making a real difference for families in need

A nine-year-old boy enjoyed a super shopping spree in Asda, but it wasn't games and sweets for himself that he piled into the trolley - it was all in aid of his local food bank.

Daley Boyes, a Year 5 pupil at St John Bosco Catholic Primary School in Sunderland, wanted to go above and beyond when his school requested food donations for the annual Harvest Festival.

So, thanks to money donated by his parents, Hayley Dove and Danny Boyes, and their business clients, as well as using his own pocket money, Daley stocked up on much-needed food for St Aidan's Catholic Academy Food Bank.
