Cats 'target' Jhon unlikely to stay at Bologna - reports

Bologna's chances of keeping hold of Sunderland reported target Jhon Lucumi appear to be rapidly decreasing, based on recent sources.

The Black Cats were heavily linked with Lucumi last summer but were unable to get a deal over the line, eventually bringing in the likes of Nordi Mukiele and Omar Alderete to bolster their backline.

However, amid Luke O'Nien's struggle for minutes and consistency in the Premier League this season, it's thought that centre-back is a position Sunderland will target again this summer, especially given how much Mukiele has rotated with Trai Hume at right-back.
