Burnmoor closing in on back-to-back Premier League titles
Sunderland Echo
|July 31, 2025
Leaders Burnmoor head to mid-table Burnopfield looking to maintain their push for the Dukes ECB North East Premier League title.
Burnmoor club official Alec Linsley said: “We have just one change as Mitch Killeen returns to the side, with Luke Husband making way.
"We are off to Burnopfield where we anticipate a really tough game. They're fresh from a great victory over Chester-le-Street last time out.
“They have a wealth of young talent and can beat anyone on their day.
"However, we are also on a roll and Ryan will have the boys up for the challenge to keep our push toward back-to-back championships, for the first time in our NEPL tenure.”
