Black Leopards boss says unfair rules are imposed on clubs

- By Nakampe Lekwadu and Kgomotso Mokoena

Black Leopards boss David Thidiela may find himself in hot water following his explosive comments about Premier Soccer League (PSL) chairman Irvin Khoza, whom he publicly labelled a “powerful dictator”.

According to a PSL insider, Thidiela is likely to be charged with bringing the league into disrepute. The informant also mentioned that Thidiela is also facing a pending charge after a protest lodged by Leruma Lions FC was re-enrolled.

His comments mark one of the rare occasions where a club boss openly challenges the league’s leadership and rules, something that historically has come with serious consequences.
