Body corporate guns for Mabitsela’s property

Hubby died owing complex levies

Former Mommy Club’s hottest property, Oratile Mabitsela’s children will inherit less from the estate of her late husband if the body corporate of a Joburg complex in which he owns a property has its way.

Sunday World can exclusively reveal that the Cedar Tree Office Park body corporate in Fourways has threatened to go to the Johannesburg High Court to liquidate Mabitsela’s late husband’s company, Mothapo Consulting Engineers, and auction off the unit it owns in the complex after he failed to pay levies.

This became known after the body corporate’s lawyers, Sutherland Kruger, wrote a letter to the entity of Mabitsela’s husband, Elias Lehlogonolo Mabitsela, shortly after his death on February 26, demanding payment of levies which were north of R86 000 in arrears.
