STATISTICS show that the law to stop dog attacks is all wrong. If we do not want more people to be killed or injured, it must be rewritten urgently.

It is unacceptable that 87 people are savaged by dogs in England and Wales each day, with every county reporting increased incidents.
Hospital admissions for dog bites are up nearly 90% since 2010 and 31 people have been killed over the last three years.
