IF St James’ Park had a church in its grounds, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta would be there this morning praying that Martin Odegaard is fit to play against Newcastle.
The 26-year-old (above) has been out since suffering a second shoulder injury this term.
Arteta was hoping that Odegaard came through final training, and feels that is all he needs to be in contention to start.
