Towie’s Gemma on life as a stepmum

- BY KENZI DEVINE

AT one time, it was hard to escape Gemma Collins’ alter-ego, The GC.

The former Towie star was on almost every reality TV show going, but now she is enjoying life at a slower pace.

And it’s all thanks to her fiance, Rami Hawash and his son Tristan, seven.

Gemma, 44, explains: “I can mix career and family these days. I've just enjoyed being a stepmum and a normal girl for a bit, because I hadn't had that for so many years.

“Everything's come full circle. I held off having a family for so many years as I was so career-focused. Then the family came along. My life has taken me on that natural path.

“Now I'm ready to come back and combine the family version of myself and the career version to give people the authentic me, not someone who is fake”

Gemma can't wait to walk down the aisle with Essex businessman Rami, but she's remarkably laid back about their big day.
