Powell hails Hall: He's only getting better

- BY DAVE CRAVEN

Wakefield 44 Catalans 6 COREY HALL shone as wonderful Wakefield ended six years of hurt against Catalans.

The classy centre put in a stellar display as Trinity ended a 14-game losing run versus the French outfit. Hall was unplayable at times in the first half as Daryl Powell's side beat Dragons for the first time in six years.

He made a brilliant break to set up Max Jowitt for a second-minute opener and had a hand in three other tries as they eased into a 28-0 interval lead. The ex-Hull KR centre is still only 22, but playing for his fourth Super League club.

Boss Powell, though, reckons he's now finding his feet.
