KARATE CHAMP GIVES PROWLERS THE CHOP

HERE was instant karma for two suspected thieves seen prowling outside a karate world champion's home.

Black belt Dave Treadwell, 45, was asleep when his wife Kelly, 47, noticed their Ring doorbell alert going off at their Warwickshire home.

And when Dave saw two men near the couple's BMWs, he leapt into action and chased the pair down the road.

The superfit dad-of-two caught up with one of the men who he restrained until the police arrived, when they detained him after discovering a warrant was out for an unrelated offence.

Dave, who lives with Kelly and their 18 and 21-year-old children, said their Bishopston home had been targeted by would-be-thieves twice in a week.

He said: "The first incident happened last Thursday when Kelly heard the camera go in the night. She looked out the window and saw two men outside.
