Hammers win is club's last shot - Forest's Nuno

Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo feels the meeting with West Ham will be his team’s “last shot” to secure Champions League football for next season.

Forest's task for the top five became a little bit harder after both Chelsea and Aston Villa earned wins on Friday, leaving Nuno's side four points off the pace with two games still to play.

A win over West Ham for Forest would close the gap back to one but they will still need Villa, Manchester City or Newcastle to drop points in their remaining games.

Last week’s 2-2 draw with relegated Leicester served as a huge blow to Forest’s chances of Champions League qualification but nevertheless sealed a place in Europe for the first time in 30 years.

Forest were in the driving seat for a place in the top five but a recent drop-off in form at the wrong time has seen them win just once in their last six outings.

Nuno says he wants to go one step further after already achieving European football.
