Beckham adds his voice to praise for Blues boss Wagner

FOOTBALL icon David Beckham has joined the clamour of praise raining down on Tom Wagner and Birmingham City FC after news that exciting plans build a new home for Blues took a step forward.

The former England captain, pictured, spoke up in response to an Instagram video message from Blues chairman Wagner celebrating the announcement of Government funding for a tram line that was described as 'vital' for the sports quarter to scheme to go ahead.

Beckham is good friends with Blues minority investor and NFL star Tom Brady, and was in attendance when Birmingham took on rivals Wrexham last year in what was dubbed the 'Hollywood derby' because of the involvement of superstars.
