Jens can't wait to celebrate Christmas with his Danish family

MOTHERWELL manager Jens Berthel Askou has revealed that a family reunion for Christmas is a better present than a 10th game unbeaten.

Callum Slattery’s 82nd-minute header gave Well a deserved three points against a Dundee side who had frustrated them for much of the game.

It lifts them into third spot in the Premiership - at least until today - but for Berthel Askou it is all about home comforts this afternoon.

Wife Rikke jets into Glasgow today with teenage kids Julius, Cornelius and Augusta with Bethel Askou confident about where his priorities lie this festive season.

“Twill enjoy my Christmas more because my family is coming over” said the Dane.

“That is something we have been looking forward to and we can't wait to spend time together.

“When they arrive, it wouldn't matter if we were unbeaten in 10 or not, because family is the most important thing in life.

“Has it been difficult to be away from them? It's always complicated but I have the most amazing wife and really, independent, cool kids.

“They are getting bigger, stronger and smarter than me!

“They are used to their dad not always being at home.
