Residents forced to evacuate from their homes

TERRIFIED residents were evacuated from their homes yesterday after a fire-ravaged tenement block collapsed

The derelict building in Glasgow came crashing down in a cloud of dust just after midnight.

Fire crews raced to the scene at the corner of Albert Drive and Kenmure Street in Pollokshields.

Nearby flats were evacuated as crews worked to make the area safe and there were no reports of injuries.
