Ralston says CalMac still vital to side

Ralston understands why some see it as a defining spell for the stuttering Celts. And he admits it’s a time for the big players to step up.

He said: “It's what you need to relish when you're at Celtic.

“When you need to be ready for the big moments.

“We need to be winning at all times to bring as much success as we can and win all the trophies that are available.

“Defining? I can see that side of it. But no matter the game, it’s always massive that we pick up the win and bring the performances with it.

“We'll look at this block of games as important but I wouldn't say they are much more important than any other block.”
