Another Emirates gift helps keeps Gunners top of pile

ARSENAL got another helping hand in the Premier League title race as a fourth own goal in three home games helped them see off Brighton.

This time it was Georginio Rutter heading into his own net early in the second half, doubling the lead after Martin Odegaard's opener.

But the Gunners had to cling on for three precious points after Diego Gomez pulled one back.

And they needed a stunning late save by David Raya from Yankuba Minteh's shot to get the job done.

The run-in promises to be a fraught affair for Gunners fans without a Premier League title since 2004. But after the wobble against Wolves - where Mikel Arteta's team needed two OGs to scramble a win - it was another big result.
