CONNECTIONS of Malystic are hoping it will be fourth time lucky in the £40,000 feature race at Kelso.

Trained by Peter Niven and jointly-bred by his late mother, the Malton raider is being aimed at the NSPCC Handicap Chase.

Former jump jockey Niven, who rode over 1,000 winners, said: "He may be rising twelve but he showed how brave he is with that win at Kelso three weeks ago.
