MONICA LENNON ON NIGEL FARAGE LIES

THIS week a letter arrived in the post from a man who recently became a grandfather worried about the values being passed down to the next generation.

He told me family, community and country are his concerns.

With the nation marking the historic 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, many of us are in a reflective mood, determined to learn the right lessons from the past so that current and future generations can know peace and prosperity.

As I pondered the letter, I shared the man’s concern for the unemployed, poorer pensioners and those struggling with their bills.

Keen to learn more about his background and what drives him, a quick Google search revealed he had been a banker with a fortune amassed through business and property.

It took me by surprise that this wealthy and well-connected man was writing to tell me that he wants to save Scotland.

But as I read more about him, something didn't add up. It seemed too good to be true.

Having been in many political parties, it turns out he is one of the wealthiest men in British politics who rubs shoulders with the likes of Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

Astonishingly, the man who penned this letter is none other than Nigel Farage; a wolf in sheep's clothing whod eat working class people alive if he got anywhere near government office.

Far from being a kindly grandpa, he is a total chancer with the cheek to be chasing votes in the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse by-election.

Because Farage doesn't care about Lanarkshire, Scotland or Britain.

Wherever he stands, and whatever party he is in at any given time, it’s always a stepping stone to something bigger and better.
