Jack believes good times are coming once new boys embrace playing for Gers
YOU can go one of two ways as a Rangers player.
Become overwhelmed by the pressure and intensity of the Old Firm.
Or puff out your chest, thrive on it - and go on to be a hero in the eyes of the supporters.
Jack Butland believes some of Gers’ current squad can do the latter.
It might not look like it right now, given the form of Russell Martin's beleaguered side.
And there's certainly little evidence to suggest the club's new signings will go on to become legends at Ibrox.
But Butland refuses to give up hope. What he sees in training every day has convinced him they can deliver.
Right now, Martin and his players are under the cosh.
They've failed to win a league game and have crashed out of the Champions League.
More worrying for fans is their apparent inability to deal with a setback and recover.
So far they've crumbled when faced with adversity.
Butland is willing to give them time to adapt to life at Rangers but, with today’s Old Firm clash with Celtic next up, they'll have to learn fast.
Ahead of the Ibrox derby, Butland said: “When a club like ours identifies players, it’s because they believe there's talent there and they've seen it.
“And that's the mentality we need to have about this.
