DEADLY Danny Strachan bagged a late winner as Peterhead came from behind, earning a 2-1 win away at Stirling to go top.

The Binos got off to the best possible start at Forthbank and were ahead in two minutes when Ryan Shanley netted. That early lead lasted all of two minutes though, with Stirling goalie Derek Gaston fumbling Seb Ross’ cross into his own net.

The Blue Toon secured the win with just four minutes left, with local lad Strachan beating several men before smashing in from close range.
