Hatton's looking for proper celebration after his Covid win

TYRRELL HATTON will savour a proper party if he wins his second BMW PGA today after claiming his first title here without fans during the Covid days.

But the Ryder Cup star, who will join his teammates on a charter flight to New York tonight, has pledged not go on another huge bender.

The world No.25 revealed before the tournament that his drinking session last month after making his fourth European team saw him wake up in his own vomit.

Yesterday Hatton was in full control as he shot eight birdies in a bogey-free 64 to move two shots behind leaders Adrien Saddier and Alex Noren on 13 under par. The LIV Golf star, who finished with a hat-trick of birdies, said: “It was a good day's work.
